Levee Remediation

Levee failures due to erosion are pandemic throughout North America, and flooding events due to levee breeches in the central portion of the United States have had a devastating impact in recent history. Lives and livelihoods along our major river systems are impacted on a yearly basis. The cost efficiency, low environmental impact, and occupational safety of our process allows for the strengthening of our country’s weakened levee systems. Using our cut-off wall at the toe of the levee affords erosion resistance at the levee’s most vulnerable area. Using multiple cut-off walls in weakened areas of a levee creates a buttressing effect by increasing rigidity of the entire earthen structure.
